![]() ![]() Using the Windows Task Manager, I disabled all of the software set to run at startup then restarted the computer. I began to troubleshoot the issue, thinking maybe drivers or software were the reason why this is happening. Once I reinstalled all of my software and restarted the computer, the same issue happened my taskbar was unusable within the first 30 seconds of loading Windows. I assumed that maybe my Windows install was somehow corrupted and preformed a backup of my user data, formatted my SSD then reinstalled Windows. The computer then closed and relaunched "Windows Explorer" and I noticed that the icons that normally populate my notifications area or system tray (near the clock on the taskbar) were no longer there but the Apps associated with those icons were, in fact running. It displayed "Windows Explorer" as not responding. I used CTRL-ALT-DEL and started the task manager. Upon restarting my computer after the update, I noticed that my Windows taskbar stopped responding for 30 or so seconds then my entire screen went black. Yesterday, my OCZ SSD Utility was updated to v. ![]()
